We passed the second year review! There are some minor fixes and adjustments but everything went well.
The review meeting is almost over. We presented our work and now the reviewers will tell us their opinion on the project's advancement.
WP1: Requirements of Robotic Procedures
Objectives:
- to understand the technical and procedural difficulties of two significant robot-assisted surgical procedures in the areas of pancreatic and vascular surgery
- identify their accuracy, execution and perception requirements
- develop two benchmark tests to demonstrate the capabilities of new tools for robot-assisted surgery
- validate patient safety of the tools with phantom and animal tests
